Quinceañera Videography ( Video de Quinceañera ) – Brooklyn NY

Vanessa was very sweet, she was nervous at first, which is understanding, but she was also so excited and happy that her special day, which she was waiting for sooooo long, finally came! She looked beautiful. She had a photo session at the Brooklyn Bridge and Times Square by another photographer Juan Soriano. Altamaya Studio just covered the video part of this event. It was a very emotional day. The reception was very elegant. The food magnificent! We would like to thank the Bravo Family for their trust in us.
Vanessa fue muy dulce, aunque estaba nerviosa al principio, y no es para menos. Aun asi estaba muy entusiasmada y feliz por ese dia tan especial que estaba esperando por mucho tiempo. Lucia hermosa, tuvieron la sesion de fotos en el muelle del Brooklyn Bridge y en Times Square con nuestro colegua el fotografo Juan Soriano que estuvo acargo de la sesion fotografica. De nuestro equipo Altamaya Juan M. Lopez estuvo a cargo de la dirección y producción del video.

Wedding Photography in Mount Kisco NY – Amaury y Maria
Una boda de ensueños, así describiría boda de Amaury y Maria, Sábado Sept 10, 2011. La hermosa novia luciendo un vestido maravilloso se traslado de la casa a la iglesia en un hermoso carruaje, y el novio no se pudo quedar atras muy galante en un Rolls Royce. Podría decir que esta pareja nos dio una lección de amor, Maria y Amaury reflejaban en sus miradas el inmenso amor que se tienen. Una pareja teniendo tanta paciencia y sobretodo demostrando todo momento el gran amor que se tienen, nunca me imagine que ellos estuvieran viviendo juntos.Y así como ellos echaron la casa por la ventana, nosotros no nos quedamos atrás, todo el equipo de Altamaya estuvo presente, con mucha practica de anticipación. Desde tres semanas antes trabajando en equipo nos estuvimos preparando para hacer las mejores tomas. Empezamos desde muy temprano para ser un recorrido previo desde la casa del novio, la casa de la novia hasta la iglesia coordinando los ángulos de las cámaras. Lazaro y Erika estuvimos cubriendo en la casa de Amaury junto a la familia Hidalgo; Miguel, Juan y Oscar estuvieron en la casa de Maria junto a la familia Martinez. El nerviosismo y emoción siempre presente, Amaury con tanta emoción en un momento se quedo sin palabras, en la entrevista. Su rostro reflejaba tanto entusiasmo y amor cada vez que le preguntábamos por Maria. La llegada del carruaje junto Maria fue lo mas esperado. La iglesia fue un mar de alegria, emociones y entusiasmo al ver a Maria llegar de la mano del Senor Jose. Toda la familia reunida para ser participe de la felicidad de una gran pareja, desde las abuelitas que una de ellas viajo desde la Republica Dominicana. En el elegante recepción se sentia un ambiente acogedor y familiar, haciendo presente gente linda de Colombia y Republica Dominicana.Todo el equipo de Altamaya estamos muy agradecido con la familia Hidalgo y Martinez, por dejarnos ser parte de esta experiencia unica y especial. En Especial a Amaury y Maria por la confianza depositada en nosotros. Gracias a la coordinación de Mey y Haziel Deras (AlwaysBeautifulEvents.com) por todo su apoyo, y las facilidades que nos brindaron de todo el evento. Y en la musica Cristian de Rivera.

A Dream Wedding- This is how I would describe Amaury & Maria’s Wedding, Saturday Sept 10, 2011. A beautiful Bride, dressed in her marvellous gown, was transported in a carriage from the house to the Church. The Groom rode in a spectacular Rolls Royce. I dare to say that this wonderful couple gave us a lesson of Love. It was reflected in their eyes, the inmense love they have for one another.
Altamaya Crew Members were present, with so much planning and practicing in advance Three weeks prior to this event, we began working as a team day after day, getting ready for this Big Day. Our day began very early, we drove from Amaury’s House, to Maria’s House to the Church, coordinating the camera’s different angles. Lazaro and Erika were assigned to Amaury’s house; The Hidalgo Family. Miguel, Juan & Oscar were assigned to Maria’s house; The Martinez Family. A mixture of emotions and anxiety were always present. Amaury got so emotional, that at one point during the interview, he was speechless. So much love showed in his face, everytime we asked him about Maria. Maria’s arrival in the carriage was the moment everyone was waiting for. It was very touching to see Maria walking down the aisle with Mr. Jose, holding hands. The whole family was united to be part of the happiness of this great couple. One of the “Abuelitas” travelled from Dominican Republic. Altamaya Staff is trully Thankful to the Hidalgo-Martinez Family, for allowing us to be a part of this unique experience. A special Thanks to Amaury & Maria for their trust in us. Event Photography – Soraya & Samir’s Baptism
A pesar de la visita del Huracán Irene por NY, fuimos a trabajar para la Familia Zarate. Y aunque los medios de comunicación y las cancelaciones del transporte publico nos pusieron un poco nerviosos, preparamos equipo y estuvimos presente en el bautizo de Soraya y Samir el 27 de Agosto del 2011. En la llegada a la casa, me esperaba Soraya y Samir muy entusiasmados. Soraya me ayudo bastante con sus ideas y sus poses, toda un estrella, la mejor asistente que me ha tocado. Creo que cuando los niños se involucran en el proceso de las tomas de la fotografía, el trabajo es mucho mas fácil y divertido y eso me lo facilito Soraya, desde la llegada de la casa hasta en la recepción. Tuve algunas complicaciones, por que primero el taxi me dejo en otra locución diferente y con la fuerte lluvia llegue empapada. Eso no me quito el ánimo, con el caluroso recibimiento de Soraya, se me olvido que la madre naturaleza nos estaba pegando fuerte esta vez. Su Bautizo termino siendo un evento maravillo, a pesar de todo. Hubo mole poblano, tequila Patrón como recuerdo, chocolates Kisses y rodeados por gente maravillosas; Familiares y Amigos/as. Gracias a la Señora Sedaac y Señor Manuel por la confianza, a toda la familia Zarate. Y una agradecimiento especial a Soraya y Samir por el apoyo y cooperación. Fue grandioso trabajar para Uds.

Despite Hurricane Irene’s visit to NY, we went to work for the Zarate Family. Eventhough we were a bit concerned, because some communications systems were down and the public transportations were cancelled, we got our equipment ready and Altamaya Studio was present at Soraya & Samir’s Baptism August 27, 2011. Upon my arrival to their house, Soraya & Samir were waiting enthusiastically. Soraya helped me a great deal with her ideas and her poses, she was a star, the best assistant I could ever have. I personally think that when the children become involved in the process of photography, our work becomes so much easier and fun. And she made sure of this from her house to the reception site. I had a few complications on the way, first of all the taxi left me at a different location, and with all that heavy rain I was soaked. But with Soraya’s warm welcome I forgot that mother nature was hitting us hard this time. It turned out to be a beautiful event, after all. There was Mole Poblano, Tequila (Patron) as souvenirs, chocolate kisses and surrounded by wonderful people; Family and Friends. A special “Thank You” to Ms. Seddac & Mr. Manuel for their confidence and to all the Zarate Family. To: Soraya & Samir; Thank You for your support and cooperation. It was great working for you.
